AZ252

Post by jerryharmer567 »

Dear All,
I took this great zoom shot of the moon myself. The Milky Way, meteors, and stars appear as fuzzy dots in my photos instead of sharp points. Using a tripod and a timer, I set the lens to its default minimum (not zoomed) at F/2.9, ISO 1600 or 3200. For some reason, the camera cannot focus on stars. Is there a problem?
Stars and meteor showers were captured with the Kodak EasyShare Z990 and manual settings. I can't do the same thing with the AZ652.
Feel free to contact me at https://ausguards.com/
It would be appreciated if you could provide specific tips for manual settings.
