Announcement of 2015 line of digital imaging products
LAS VEGAS, NV, January 6, 2015 – JK Imaging Ltd., the worldwide licensee for KODAK PIXPRO Digital Cameras and Devices, announced today its roll out of the 2015 line of digital imaging products. This year’s line up will welcome new cosmetic designs, more powerful megapixel offerings and Electronic View Finder Diopter dial for the flagship KODAK PIXPRO Astro Zoom Camera model.
The new 2015 KODAK PIXPRO suite of cameras will continue to offer consumers a variety of feature-rich, long-zoom options at very attractive price points. The 2015 Astro Zoom line is highlighted with the new flagship 65x optical zoom AZ652. This model will retail for a MSRP of $379.99; features a 52 mm compatible lens filter; 1080p HD Video; is Wi-Fi compatible, 3.0” articulating LCD; OIS and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The AZ652 is scheduled to go on sale in the Q3 of 2015.
Additional models in the KODAK PIXPRO Astro Zoom Camera line offer outstanding performance and a wide range of affordable price points, including the all new cosmetically designed AZ252, 25x optical zoom and the new AZ422 (20MP CCD) and the new AZ527 (52x optical zoom and step up 20MP BSI CMOS sensor). Models are competitively priced respectively from $179.99 - $329.99 (MSRP) and offer consumers a popular bridge style camera to suit all budgets and levels of photography experience.
With the very successful introduction of the KODAK PIXPRO SMART LENS® Camera models SL10 and SL25 in 2014, JK Imaging will introduce a third SMART LENS Camera with the SL5 in 2015, offering consumers another option to outfit their existing iOS or ANDROID smartphones or devices with a compact, portable snap on lens. The SL5 SMART LENS® Camera offers 5x optical zoom and a built-in flash for convenience. It is wireless for added flexibility and can be controlled via the free PIXPRO Remote Viewer app. Additional features on the SL5 ($179.99 MSRP) include Full 1080p HD video, 28-280mm wide angle lens, optical image stabilization (OIS), the ability to take a micro SD card (up to 32GB) and compatibility with iOS/ANDROID phones and devices. The SL5 will be available in Q1 of this year.
Continuing to support consumer need for an affordable, dedicated camera offering better photo quality and convenience, the 2015 KODAK PIXPRO Camera line up will offer 3 new Friendly Zoom point and shoot models. The FZ43, FZ53 and FZ152 will boast brand new cosmetic designs and will offer entry-level 4x; 5x and 15x optical zoom respectively for the very affordable MSRP price points of $79.99 to $149.99 US.
