With the growing interest in immersive 360° video and adding an interactive and engaging element to videos both in the B2B and consumer sectors, the need for custom mounts for cameras and equipment is rapidly expanding. Mark W. Gray, CEO of Rocket Pictures has been involved in creating immersive 360° and 180° video content by providing 360° training and tutorials for hobbyists and professionals alike. The need to better understand and leverage powerful interactive video and take user experiences with 360° content to the next level is an integral part of the technology promise. Part of the missing link were specific camera mounts to be able to further customize applications and installations to provide users with the right equipment to capture their specific 360° video. The durability of using only two SP360 4K VR cameras to capture 360° video versus much more expensive and time consuming multi-camera rigs of 6 or more provided a solid solution for Rocket Pictures and other video producers to simplify their content acquisition.
