Hello,

I would like to inquire if there are cases where KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 zooms automatically underwater at depths of about 5 meters. We recently purchased 2 cameras of this model to take underwater pictures for research purposes and we have observed that upon reaching a certain depth the camera tends to zoom in automatically for both the cameras we have purchased. Upon zooming in towards the maximum, the zoom out button also malfunctions, and it requires us to turn it off for the camera to return to its original zoom setting.

I've got the exact same issue - did you find a solution?

I can only zoom back out when surfacing

Its relaly frustrating as you get all the way down there, find a good shot and the camera doesnt work.

I’m brand new here but it sounds like you have a pressure problem with the zoom in button where it gets pushed by the water pressure as you descend.
