FZ45 Why won't my pixpro 45 load my pictures?

I recently got the pixpro 45 and it was saying failed connection for a while, so I switched the batteries and now everything works fine except when I go to view my pictures I get the "No Pictures!" notification, and it just takes me back to the camera. I got this camera in January and have not used it too much, so I'm not sure why it is doing this.
